A Second Rescue

John, Beau and Harley

We recently adopted a second rescue dog, another dog we call Beau.   We did it on the theory that a second dog helps to give the first dog some balance, be more well rounded and less dependent on us.   We also opererated on the theory a  second one isn’t really that much work.   He is a good little dog, 3 years old and housebroken (one of the many good things about mature rescue dogs).  We forgot about the stresses that come with fitting a new animal in your life.   I am sure a year from now it will seem simple but right now it is a lot of work.

I'd love it if you let me know what you thought of this post.
